It was not double boxed. In fact, it is very rare that I see a double boxed shipped computer. This one was actually packed pretty well but it looked like it took a fall on the top right tip where the monitor is. The shipper offered to file an insurance claim but the parts are worth more than I paid so it didn't work out too badly anyway.

It was shipped via Canada Post from a close city to me. They are usually pretty good. That's the unlucky part.
