Largest Hard Drive for a Classic II
Did a search to see if this question had been asked before, but could not find it - so to the point:
Have '93 Classic II with what might be an ailing 80 MB hard drive and was looking to upgrade. As most know, this particular machine sports a 3.5 SCSI internally, so I looked on eBay:

i sell a 73 gb hard drive that would work flawlessly in your classic II

As long as the drive is a 50-pin SCSI-1 drive, I don't think there is any hardware limit…
Of course, 7.5.5 has a partition limit of 4gb or so, unless you want 18 partitions (on a 75GB disk) you probably want a smaller one!

acutely you don't need to partition all the space.
my SE / IIsi / se/30 - LC1 - LC2 - C1 - C2 with these modern drives installed, all just have a 1.7gb partition. and the rest just sits there un allocated.

Having 1.7gb of 75gb partitioned would feel like a big waste to me…
Until you see what smaller, 50-pin drives sell for on the open market. Then it will seem like a bargain.
Yeah, they are a tad expensive… But still, I'd probably end up with 18 drive icons on my desktop 
Okay, so am picking up a 350 MB hard drive from eBay for around $30 with shipping.
Glad I did some searching first, or I'd have picked up the wrong drive. Its important to note that the drive in a Classic II must be the 50-pin version. And those run a bit more expensive, since there are a lot fewer of them out there.

There are a number of different solutions using other SCSI drives with adapters. That's what uniserver's had offered. Unless you are going for original authenticity, a newer drive is probably a better choice.
