That or be happy with it, looking a gift horse in the chip seems like a lot of work, maybe when my week off before Thanksgiving rolls around. Until then I'll play with it a bit, watch the temperature profile, study the service source and look for a clock chipping page.
In the meantime I'll upgrade the Pismo from 10.4.11 to 9.2.2. [
] ]'> Set up on the main workstation's USB KVM, The Pismo's 1600 x 1200 @16bit coutput is plenty good enough for Illustrator work and the Beige is good enough for occasionally tweaking pics. I can also knock the Pismo's resolution down to 800 x 600 @24bit or work on the built in LCD.
