Grrrrrrrrrr!
I guess I need to find my Pismo DVD a/o the rest of the stack of Pismo CD-ROM drives. I hooked up the USB HP DVD writer f0r the NetBooks to the Pismo, but it insists on booting into that crappy OSX stuff on its HDD and not off the OS9 CD or the 9.1 /9.2.2 Systems on the TechTool Pro 3.0.6 CD on restart. For some reason it won't restart from the button in the Startup Disk setting box when either CD is selected. Is an Apple ROM'd Optical a requirement?
I've found my USB2/FW IDE HDD enclosure, is there any reason the Pismo wouldn't boot off one of either of those interfaces on am external drive?
