Overclocking SE/30 - IIcx
Both of these machines run at 16 mhz.From what I understand about the compacts (including the SE/30), because the video timing comes from the lobo, you can't OC them. Maybe with an external monitor, but then what's the point?
as we now know the Radius IIsi video card can work in the SE/30
so i no longer care about SE/30's internal video.
(soon greyscale mod anyways)
The Iicx however…
I am wondering why nobody has tried to clock that up?
20mhz? 25mhz?? +++ more?
This extra speed would help these sluggish machines greatly!
Any Input?
Or with some modification, i assume one could run the SE30 video-circuit on a seperate clock.
