Best "line in" solution for a Pismo?
Just wondered what product(s) people are using to get a better line in function for a Pismo. I want to record some LPs and cassettes over winter in Audacity, and it would sure help to be able to do that on one of my Pismos rather than tying up our main desktop PC. I once tried an Audacity rip using the Pismo's native mic port, and the results were pretty bad.
I found this one item on the 'bay - is this worth a shot, or is there a better PC card solution for this?

The Griffin iMic would be a good choice, cheap (when used) and easily available, works out of the box. Those generic USB sound cards usually work fine too under OS X (although I'd say 10.4+), but you might find they have poorer quality DACs than the Pismo itself.

Thanks, Byrd, I will give one of those a try.
