yup one is used to jump the power supply on.
the other is for the RTC, pram….
3.6v is fine or if you want to go to radio shack and get a holder plus 2 AAA or AA's.
it might be same price or even less to do that.
yeah those SAFT made in france batteries seem to be going around.
they are probably fine.
the axial batteries i always clip the leads right at the battery and then just solder those leads to the new battery.
you can also get some holders for those 3.6v lithium batteries.
