I format my 10,000rpm 73gig SCA drives in OS9, i make like 8 partitions 1.7gig each. set them all to Standard.hit go…

Then I drag and drop what ever os i want on there. for instance for a Macintosh SE 8mhz, i would do 7.1. command + A, Drag and drop onto the first partition. and pop it in the SE and boom it works.

is he talking about a SE or SE/30… i do not know.

Thats what is driving me nuts! I should be that simple. And its weird that I can format, partition, initialize on the 5215 under 7.6.1 and they appear just fine. Then the SE won't see them. It has to be the drive, something is not right. I am trying a few things with jumpers now. Not the SCSI select, the other jumpers on the drive. And at this point I am using SE motherboard #3 just to rule out funky issues there.

At least my mouse skills are improving. I seem to have gotten WAY to used to a Magic Mouse! LOL
