I can answer some of this... Yo yo adapter is fine. You can swap screens but far easier to do with swapping the screen/top case assembly than taking apart the top case. See if you can find a whole assembly. Best OS is 8.1 or 8.6; 9 runs but is very slow. 8.6 allows use of a wi-fi (orinoco) card. 7.5 and 7.6 really fly on it. I think you can put a 6gb drive in it without problems. My ones still have the original 2gb drives. You can also run from flash memory cards to run the OS. Ram is now very hard to find, batteries all pretty much dead unless re-celled. These run ok with at least 32mb ram but obviously run a lot better with 64. You should still be able to find the floppy module or it may come with it? I have several, can check the part number if you need. The lack of usb is annoying but flash cards work well for storage.
