Be aware that either of the wireless card will only work with basic (WEP) tyoe network security.

I tried once to get the 1400 hooked by 3com ethernet adapter, and I gave up. Can be done but "harder than it sounds." The Orinoco hook was actually easier, as long as you are connecting to an open or only WEP protected network.
