IIgs display help

No problem admitting that I know next to nothing about Apple IIs. For my Apples all I have are either monochrome displays or Performa display. So today I decided to give a Performa display a go. All I get is garbled video. I assume the native resolution of the display will not work with the IIgs, but I want to be certain. I tried both the display port on the motherboard and the one off of the Apple video overlay card. Identical results. The RCA out works fine.

Assuming the color display is a no-go, what color display should I look for?

RGB display.

AppleColor RGB A2M6014: North American 110v version

15Hz horizontal scan RGB monitor, manufactured by Mitsubishi, originally for use with Apple IIgs systems.

Thanks, that is what I was looking for. I will have to keep my eye out for one now.

The A2M6014 does pop up from time to time on evilBay. Two were listed either last week or the week before.
