I did purchase my TAM from him so he said he'd throw in the IIGS. That was very generous of him as I had no idea what would come with it. A few months later, I was very surprised and delighted, as can be imagined. It's almost like a time capsule for the IIGS.

I didn't know the CFFA3000s might work in the IIGS. I have two earmarked for an Apple II+ and an Apple III (haven't taken them out of the package yet). I would really like to fix the hard drive in this IIGS so I wouldn't need the CFFA3000 or at least get the SCSI drive working once so I can copy it. The previous owner said it has most IIGS software on it already patched to run off of the hard drive. If I can't get that hard drive back, I might be asking how to patch floppy images soon
