I seem to recall those cards coming in a rather generic brown box similar to what Apple used for packaging circa 1992-1993. The early ones may have been in a white and red box like most 1989-1991 stuff.

As for what machine to put it in, I'm going to go with the Color Classic. I had one in a CC at one time. Assuming your CC is stock, I'd use the least powerful card in that one, and that would be your IIe card. Save the more powerful machines for accelerators, Ethernet, and video stuff.

Another perk--that weird 512x384 resolution on your CC's display is a carryover from the 12" LC monitor. This was designed to convert easily to the IIe's resolution.
I think you might be right.  The hard drive on the CC (actually, it's a Performa 250, but same same) is a basic install of System 7, so this would be perfect to partition with PRODOS.  Hmmm, I think this will be a lot of fun!
