128/512k yellow silk-screened motherboard?

Did you buy it, or did it end just now?

Looks like it's missing a pin on the power connector.

It was active when I posted, I thought.

Anyway, there is always that one missing pin. Although one is bent a little.

I have seen a few yellow 128/512K boards in my time. Never gave it much thought about them. Always thought they were made elsewhere. But that was years ago.

Board came today. Very fast shipping. Yellow indeed, but very poor printing. Its very blury. But its a rare F variant board! Starting to think these did not exist! 820-0086-F  This part number always seemed to be more of a place holder. It can be refernced in many places, but the board itself is rare.

I have one of those too.  It's in a 512k, I think.  I posted a pic a while ago but it looks like the pic is gone.  I'll see if I still have the pic somewhere.  I wouldn't remember which one it's in now

Yes and now that I think of it, I think it was a 512ke.

Yup. I am not sure if there are any changes between this and the regular 512k board - 820-0141.

I think this was the first hybrid board produced. Not sure if they were test boards or what.

All the 512ks I've seen have the 128k/512k hybrid board.

But I have yet to see one that has been configured for 128k! Obviously there are many out there, the 128k was sold for some time along side the 512k. But yes, this variant was the second Macintosh production motherboard.

Work - I dunno. Maybe during this snow storm Monday I will finally get around to some of this stuff! From that lot I have still only powered on one computer, an SE/30. Ugh! lol

I have seen one hybrid board configured for 128k on eBay before but never in person, still want to grab one at some point. It was for the 128k's that have the 128k badging on the back. Kind of funny Apply still sold the 128k after the 512k came out as a cheaper option I guess, so pointless though considering everyone basically upgraded their 128k to 512k in under a year from purchase because of how useless it became so quickly.

Nah, it's no different than selling a free iPhone 5C today with only 8GB Storage with iOS 8.1.

Kinda different since the 5C will run almost all the apps, apart from the few that require an A7 or better.
