I'm still puzzled by this rev A/B CRT difference. I don't recall ever encountering any incompatibilities. The yokes, yes, but the CRTs themselves, no. I've swapped CRTs from and to just about every conceivable combination of classic compacts (or so I've thought), and the only CRT-specific difference I've ever encountered was related to a rotation of the pins. As long as you swap only the CRTs, leaving the yoke with the Mac, I've not had any problems.
