Thanks, is there any other way to reset the NVRAM? I have never been able to get the machine to go into open firware. It just boots up as per usual.

According to the documents I have that will reset the PMU (Power Management Unit). Wait a good 5 seconds before pressing the power button again after that though.

Oh blast, I think I pressed that about 10 times in quick succession, in between pressing the start button as well. Oh well, still works. You don't have any idea where to get the replacement batteries, do you?
