Thanks, is there any other way to reset the NVRAM? I have never been able to get the machine to go into open firware. It just boots up as per usual.

Not that I know of. Have you tried holding down the keys while pressing the power button to ensure no timing issues?

Online vendors? Might be able to find em in electronic stores in a city.
Yeh, I got the part number from that link so I should be able to find 'em somewhere. Hope they're not too hard to replace.
