well you would look cool carrying your 'axe' in a long haired tight jeaned drunken sort of way.Huh? Why would you want a handle in the body of your guitar? If you're carrying it around, I would hope it would be in a case or at least a gig bag.
And carrying a clamshell around by the handle makes you look like a girl.
