Hah. People are throwing out piles of books on eBay and I’m used to paying 95c for the ‘classics’ in hardback, so paying $30 for a paperback pains my tightwad heart. I will definitely read it at some stage though, even if I have to use my teabags four times instead of the usual three for a week.
‘You’re 37 and you’re still calling me Mummy, that ought to be a clue!’ (Boom-tss!)
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve just checked my king.
I have Asperger's as well so I already know! Your experience with it sounds very different to my own, however – yours sounds a lot more angsty and destructive whereas mine has been playing games of chess against myself and asking ‘Mummy, why did no-one come to my birthday party?’
