One point of clarification I need from both of you: which server are you using? I understand Academician is using MacADT server. What about John8520?
Then, which client is each using? I understand Academician is using DOS ADT (not ADTPro), which is supposed to work. If either is trying to use the ADTPro client with the old MacADT server, that isn't expected to work. The rules are:
New ADTPro server: serves new and old clients (ADT/ADTPro)
Old ADT/MacADT server: only serves old DOS ADT client
So mixing old and new is sometimes a problem, and I'm not confident that's what's at fault here, but just wanted to make that clarification.
