I think the power supply will work if i use the sawtooth or gigbit board.
the B&W/Yikes PSU is _not_ compatible with the Sawtooth or GBE when left stock! Modding it for use with a Sawtooth is not hard but for the GBE you will need a new connector on the PSU and voltages that the B&W PSU does not supply.
Does anyone know if the back plane can be changed to accept the i/o ports from the new mobo.
The I/O panel in the Sawtooth and GBE is part of the chassis.
Is it possible to use the newer apple cpu (quicksilver) in the old board?
What old board? The B&W or Sawtooth/GBE? it will _not_ work in the B&W but it can work in the Sawtooth/GBE with slight modifications.
