Big HD on LC II and MacOS 7.5
I'm trying to install MacOS 7.5 on a LC II and the disk seems to
be somewhat bigger than the regular Apple disk originally in the
box. Its a Maxtor 7120SR which I think is about 80MB.
When I try to install MacOS 7.5 from the original disks, its unable
to recognise the drive. I know this worked before on a LC II so
I'm guessing there is something I need to do first?
I do have another Mac (Mac Duo) which I could use if necessary
to set the disk up?
Thanks
Ian.

Chances are that the drive is not Apple OEM and you therefore need to use the patched HD SC Setup, or a third-party utility such as Silverlining.
