One Of The *GREATEST* Commercials *EVER* Made
I mean that ....
The guy using the computer reminds me so much of one of my best buds, Matt.
I had this on "68KMLA"v1.0 & here it is again for those who missed it.

Ha, I like that one
makes me laugh because I do it right before every big project is due. Except not on an Apple //c.
Two classic commercials right there...
My comments:
1. The guy using the IIe sort of reminds me of when I was young. I was so addicted to my IIe that I didn't want any other toys--until the big box came (though mine was a Mac Classic, which I woke up one morning to find on my dining room table).
2. The IIc commercial also reminds me of myself. The good old days of high school--chilling with folks in the hallway and panicking about finals--and studying for anything and everything on an Apple. I didn't use a IIc but did use an iBook G3 for most of high school (with some other Macs thrown in there as well--namely an LC, an SE, a Classic II, and an iMac G4).

Bleh, if I brought my iBook G3 to school I'd bet a fair amount of money that
A) A teacher would yell at me for "playing games" (MS Word is a game?) or
B) It would get stolen out of my locker. Fast

I agree that teachers are nuts.
I'd just have everyone else crowded around me whenever I took a laptop out.Bleh, if I brought my iBook G3 to school I'd bet a fair amount of money that A) A teacher would yell at me for "playing games" (MS Word is a game?) or

That's what happened last year.
Brings back some great late-night memories I have with my IIsi.
I vaguely remember the first commercial when I was a kid. The second one, not so much.
And as for teachers, I worry more about the damage they do than what the kids do. I work as a tech for two elementary schools so trust me on this one.
