I think they're in much lower supply than the other models due to the $700 premium they commanded over the mostly-comparable 867MHz model. You only gain 133MHz (and double the VRAM, which was what interested me)

Also, considering that they're the last, fastest PowerBook that runs Classic, I think they'll have greater supply and lower demand than other models well into the future.

EDIT: I meant greater demand and lower supply. 1GHz TiBooks are hard to find in my experience. Several other models are quite common, though.
