okay, so i took a look inside of my book, everything seems to be intact. i just now entered a blank cd-r into my book to test if the drive is okay or if it needs to be replaced. if that's true, i'll upgrade to a superdrive.

also i noticed when i was in system profiler, i looked under devices, and it said that no burning device was found... is that some thing little, or is it something i need to be worried about?
