I've seen YouTube videos from as recent as 2012 showing the Mac SE surfing with MacWeb so I'm pretty sure I should be able to see SOMETHING even if it is a garbled mess. And there are sites like System 6 Heaven specifically designed to be viewable with such ancient browsers.

I had an epiphany as to what might be causing the problem. I have HughesNet satellite Internet and I have 'Web Acceleration' enabled which uses some sort of compression/proxy that the old browsers don't like. I disabled it and now I'm surfing just fine!

Also: How do I edit a post? That s on the end of browsers in my subject is annoying me...
