I didn't realise you intended the logs to be public. I've never agreed with public posting of IRC logs or sections from them unless all concerned parties involved in that section of the log are consulted and give permission first. The IRC channel I currently admin has a 'chat quotes' collection that has the classic moments from the past logged in it, but we all reached a consensus that it should be publicly logged for posterity at the time in most cases, and furthermore anyone could raise an objection and have a quote removed or their part censored if required - although no-one ever has to my knowledge.

Private logging is only a duty for a mature and trustworthy individual. That might cause an issue around here *ducks to avoid the hail of flying Windows CDs*
