I know I've had some very personal discussions on that channel which I'm sure the people involved would not want available for all and sundry to see, and especially not coming up in search engines.
That said, anyone who chats on IRC should assume that anything you say can and will be shouted from the rooftops. People who give away personal details on there are crazy. Especially with weirdos like me hanging around!
