Source for Duo 230 batteries.
Looking to buy a rebuilt Duo battery. Any idea where to get one?
If you don't mind doing some surgery, it is often cheaper to find a source of individual cells, and hook those together. Or to find a battery pack for some other computer, but one whose cells are of the same type. So, unless you're in a hurry, or want a professional-looking result, this DIY method might be worth considering.
The problem is in apples Quest to make a small and light portable, they
used smaller than normal batteries in the battery pack. Standard size AA batteries will not let the case close . AAA are 900mah.. There are 2000mah AAA listed on the net but they turn out to be 900mah.

NiMH AA batteries with tabs is what you need. Batteries the same size as the originals are available on ebay. Search NiMH AA tabs.
