the difference was Sony bought out all of the game companies! Leaving Jack squat for Nintendo and Sega. Same thing with the GC and Xbox. Bringing such classics as Final Fantasy and Metal Gear (which were popular NES/SNES games) forces fans of these great games to switch platforms.

It's not the hardware, its' the games.
