I've been waiting for my D-link adapter to be shipped rom Apple and then I went to the compusa's site and found Belkin Bluetooth adapter

I went and got it. It works just fine and it is also 49.95. So, a nice alternative to D-Link if you do not want to wait.link

since it has an external antenna........

can it reach further distances than the d-link ??

Unlikely, Bluetooth is limited to 10 meters (about 30 feet). Of course in ideal situations that might be slightly longer or even shorter.

the belkin is advertised as "100m" ???

if that's the case [that it can't go further] then the d-link would be better. [smaller primarily]
