Well, thanks for the info. Speedtouch was looking pretty interesting. But I was just on the phone with the company who will be providing the DSL, and it looks like the only modem they will support is the Efficient Networks Speedstream 5660. The ONLY ONE!!! Jerks. And they want to charge me 250 bucks for it and then 100 to install it. I don't think so. eBay here I come.

So I guess this conversation is now limited to suggestions of hardware routers that you recommend.
