As for the Oreos, I've got that handled.

I got a wireless so a windows laptop in another part of the house can share the dsl with the iMac.

The DHCP Client ID is entirely optional.

It's used by some DHCP servers to maintain a consistent IP address allocation to users based on Client ID. For a personal network, you can just leave it blank, or fill it in with anything you like - it won't make any difference.
