It seems that sometimes the combination router/WAP has a little problem keeping up-I use two independent boxes (because that's how I could afford them when I bought them), and I think I've had fewer problems because of it.
As with all Linksys routers, keep your settings written down somewhere handy. It may be necessary for you to do a long reset, returning the box to its factory (or last firmware update) defaults, and figuring this stuff out after having a problem is just too much hassle.
