I am looking at getting an iBook to take along with me to work. I would like to dial into the internet at work but don't have a dial-up ISP (have cable). I thought about getting an Airport Base Station along with the iBook and using the PPP dial-in feature. Has anyone used the dial in feature of the 2.0.4 Airport Basestation software? If so does it work as I expect, ie get on the web by dialing in on PPP to the Airport then getting on the web from my cable modem? Here's a clip from the readme.
"The ability to dial into the base station through a standard PPP phone connection, allowing remote access to the base station and the computers on the AirPort wireless and wired network."
Thanks in advance,
Brad
