So the hub i've been using forever is a very old 16 port 10 base compaq "repeater" hub. Its very old and very big, but i got it cheap way back and it worked great, if not slow. Well I just bought a new one on the net, its a new 8 port 10/100 hub, its tiny, a spec of a thing compared to my old one. Problem is, I can fileshare over it no problem, but I can't get internet over it. My router machine can surf away, and IPNR is running, but with that hub in between, none of my other machines can get to ANYTHING on the internet. But i can do local stuff no problem, and switching back to the old big slow one brought my internet right back. This is the weirdest thing?!
