Most likely culprit is that your
WEP encryption key is mis-matched
between the iBook and the Linky.

You might want to turn off encryp.
temporarily to prove/disprove and
then go back in and re-read about
how the iBook and Linky use
keys and the one hoop you have to
jump through to get the key
hashing correct.
