Modem or HighSpeed Poll, What do you use?
This is a poll to how many users connect using a modem, high bandwidth method. I am on a high speed cable modem, and it has kinda put me out of touch with the cured and damned

Thought about that, but I was more interested in how many people used a modem. There should be a Poll forum, linked to relevant threads, I doubt there will be a good sample in this forum, not a lot of hits.
This started with the thought of if Apple declared the floppy dead, is it possible they will declare the modem dead? I think not for a long time, there are still places that don't have access or can justify the cost with the amount they use the internet.
High Speed Always On internet access changes what the internet is. Before, when I was on AOL, the internet was just some thing you could go on when you wanted to. Now internet is something different. It is all the information in the world. Its hard to explain, but if you have cable from dialup, you know exactly what I mean.
