I have a 3 computer network going on with a Laser Writer 360 all going into a 6 port hub. Connected also is a router with a cable modem. All computers can connect to the internet and the printer, but I'm having a difficult time figuring out why I cannot file share with any of the computers. One does not show up at all via AppleShare, incoming or outgoing. Apple talk is set to ethernet and is active. The one computer that does show up on another computer still won't actually share info because even after submitting the password, it won't connect. Any clues?

You might want to try filesharing through TCP/IP as opposed to regular AppleTalk. It's not quite as simple (you will have to type in the computer's IP number), but it could possibly work better. And then, if you assign static IPs to the computers, you could make aliases to simplify future access.

What kind of hub/router do you have? It may not fully support the AppleTalk protocol.
