The thing to note here is that I am not even attempting to utilize X's printer sharing support, but that the JetDriect 300X is actually the print server, which makes the printer available over the network. The G4 is actually hooked via an Ethernet switch to the JetDirect box and therefore not utilizing wireless networking, but I wanted to illustrate that it really does work fine over the network in 9 and in fact over the network wirelessly.. I'm just not sure why it initatlly showed up, but no longer appears, despite nothing different happening to the device itself. HP says that network printing is supported for the printer with X's release, but I'm not sure why it isn't showing up.
