Internet connection in Madrid
I know someone living in Madrid and I was wondering what the best solution is for web access? It would be used for unlimited access to browsing the web, so is there a DSL service that isn't too expensive?
Thanks,
Josh

If madrid is an industrialized city with relatively normal telecommunications, then dsl shouldn't be too expensive or hard to find. I know folks have it in St. Petersburg, Russia (Russia's second-largest city, behind Moscow). There it runs $40/mo. or so, which is comparable to US prices.
if your friend is a native Arabic speaker, then that will be most helpful in his/her search for dsl service. otherwise, I'd find a tech-savvy friend in madrid to advise her on her local options.
