I just set up a Linksys router for the reason that i have a new 17" iMac coming in the next few days. I'm planning on using my older B/W G3 as a web server and Hotline server and both will share the DHCP based Cable Modem Connection.

I got the router hooked up and all IP forwarding seems to work.

Web ports active and forwarding
Hotline ports active and forwarding
FTP ports active and forwarding
Telnet ports active and forwarding
AppleShare ports active and forwarding
Timbuktu ports active and forwarding

BUT... I can access my webserver with the IP address from work but the Web site browsing is DogSlow!!!

All other protocols above are working fine...i may not have opened enough Ports for web serving to work well....Hmmm.

BTW. When i installed the router my IP address changed after a year...I have had a registered domain name routing to my IP address with no problems....So now that it's changed, i'm waiting to see if the new DNS record will forward my name to the new IP...Keep your fingers crossed...
