I'm having a problem - when turning my mac on yesterday (new iMac) I couldn't surf The problem is that the DHCP is giving me an address that starts with 169.xxx.xxx.xxx. I talked with RR Tech help and he said that a 169 or 192 is not a good address (I should be getting a 24. 25. 26. or 204.) I've never had a problem before and I've been using my mac/roadrunner for 4 months. I've deleted my TCP/IP Preferences file twice now and reset in OS9 (I'm running OSX but RoadRunner is configured in 9).

Does anyone have any advice? It sucks not having internet access - especially when you get so used to having it.
If i'm missing any relevant information please let me know.
Thanks!
