Can someone recommend me a good (cheap) alternative to an Airport Basestation? I don't require a lot of bells and whistles, I just want to be able to surf in my living room.
You'll find plenty of recommendations here...just search the forum. Personally I'd recommend any of the SMC Barricade wireless routers. I've installed hybrid networks for a few of my clients with these and both Macs and PCs have had no problems at all.
