Hi all,

I just setup my own Airport network w/ SMC 7004aWBR. WOW, just plug in the cable in the SMC and turn on the Airport in Mac and choose "default". I am all set. Took me 1 min!! Very Easy, but TOO easy.

When I was using SW base station in OS9, it needs network name and password to join the network. (It called close network, right?) Now, I guess anyone can use join this default network and use my internet connection or 'see' my mac.

1. How can I setup this Wireless Router into close network, which need password to join?

2. Also, it is possible to use encryption?

I am now using 10.1.5 and will upgrade to 10.2 shortly.
