USB printer sharing, OS 9.2, Jaguar, possible?
The players, a USB Epson 740 hooked up to an iMac 333 running os 9.2 with USB printer sharing turned on connected to a router. A 867 QS running Jaguar connected to the router via an ABS. Is in possible to share the printer connected to the iMac running OS 9? Installing Jag on the iMac is not an option. I have an hp psc 950 connected to the QS, but there are no drivers for Jag yet, so I am looking to do this while I wait. My other option is to manually move the files to the iMac and print from there, but that's a pain, another would be to buy a cheap inkjet so I can still print every time this happens. I suppose this is a case for not buying a aio printer, but it has other features that are really nice to have. Anyways, if anyone can help me here, thanks.

I didn't find anything, so I assume you must have because of your comment, otherwise why would you have posted it. Perhaps you could post a link to your search which obviously yielded the results I was looking for but didn't seem to be able to find.

I've tried to do USB printer sharing with Jaguar(PowerMac DP-1GHz) and OS 9.2(iBook) and nothing works. I don't think it's possible. With Jaguar-to-Jaguar, however, it's easy as pie.
in osx, go to tcp/ip pref and imput .local as search domain.
Now go to sharing pref , under firewire create a printer port 515
In os9 the printer should appear under usb printer sharing.

Thanks for the reply yaro, but I wanted to be able to use the printer connected to the iMac which is running os 9 from my QS running Jaguar. So I need to be able to see the printer in the printer list from the Print Center.
Try installing gimp-print. It is possible. Just follow the gimp-print instructions.
