what's this airport status menu icon?

Hi,
I'm getting a strange icon on my airport status menu. Normally, there are 4 bars which are grey or black depending on the reception, right? Well, sometimes, I get this solid grey (no bars at all, just solid) triangle with a picture of a monitor (or computer) in the middle. Does anyone know what this icon represents?

When there is an icon of a computer it means you are on a network created by another Airport enabled computer. When this is here the Aiports directly connect, and do no go through the Airport Base Station.
