Do you have the router configured to run as a DHCP server?
I believe that somehow the computers have to be configured to the 192.168.1.1x subnet (is that the right term?) -- either manually or, say, by DHCP....
DHCP is the way that my Linksys runs my little LAN of my Powerbook and PC, so that they can see each other.
