help w/ Rendezvous
Okay, my apologies if this has been covered a zillion times in other threads, but the MacNN search engine is broke and I need help. AFAIK, if I (Pismo, 10.2 w/ airport) open up my computer in the same room as someone else running 10.2, and we both have Rendezvous up and running, then we should show up in each other's Rendezvous window and be able to chat/swap files, etc.
THis is not happening for me . I am in a university setting, with an airport network running, and I can't seem to get anyone to show up in my Rendezvous window, and I don't show up in theirs (we are both running 10.2 and have iChat/Rendezvous running and Airport enabled). We can both access the net, so I know the network is good. Can someone please help me out or point me to a good primer on using Rendezvous? How do I get this darn thing to work?

port 5298 has to be open for ichat's rendezvous to work, so if either of you is using the built-in personal firewall in 10.2 it might be the problem.
