you will need either DAVE 3.x (thursby.com) or one of the various SMB utils out there. go to versiontracker.com and their mac os x tab and search for them.

if you had OS X 10.2 (jaguar), you wouldn't need any 'extras', as Jaguar makes it pretty simple.
